The Vanh Hanh Lion Dance Team paid a visit to the United Kenpo Karate Academy. The Karate Academy has been around since 2003. This year, however, the Academy moved locations, and is now located at 9221 Coors Boulevard, NW in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Vanh Hanh Lions danced for the Grand Opening of the new location. The Lions bring special blessings and good luck everywhere they dance, in which case, the United Kenpo Karate Academy is off to a very good start!

The weather was perfect for the Grand Opening, clear blue skies and slightly cool temperatures. The festivities started off with a ribbon cutting ceremony, officially opening the new school. After the ribbon cutting, the Lions got to dancing. The instructors and students gathered around to watch the show. The loud drums and the brightly colored, playful lions excited people throughout the shopping center.

The Van Hanhs danced inside the Academy and in the outside parking lot. They played with the crowd and moved to the music.

The new Academy is beautiful and spacious, it will be a great place to learn karate! Thank you to the United Kenpo Karate Academy for letting us spread joy and happiness at your Grand Opening!
